This new program from the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce is designed to recognize talented individuals who have, either personally or professionally, been responsible for helping advance the Grand Prairie community either through their business contributions, community involvement or civic leadership in a demonstrable way within the last 12 months.
Those who are chosen will automatically become eligible to join the chamber’s newly-formed Emerging Leaders Business Group.
Honorees will be chosen by a panel of community leaders from other areas who weigh equally business successes and civic/philanthropic/community involvement activities.
Nominations will be accepted starting March 23 through May 31, 2026. Honorees announced June 15, 2026. Shining Stars will be recognized at the Inaugural Shining Stars Luncheon on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Tickets and Table sales are on sale now!
