    Hello! My name is Safira Abundiz, I am a christian hispanic woman, married for over 20 years with 6 beautiful kids. I have lived in Grand Prairie for over 25 years and counting. I am the owner of Vivid Flowers, a flower shop located in Grand Prairie TX. I have been in business for over 2 years now and in the process of expanidng my business interests further.

I have resided in Grand Prairie since 2012 with my husband Bryan. Together we have seven children and six grandchildren. I started my career working in Inventory Management and spent twenty plus years working for some of the largest internationally known retail companies. In 2018 I decided to change my career path and received my insurance license for property and casualty insurance. I have since worked for Farmers and Allstate insurance. In August of 2020, I was released from Allstate due to the Covid pandemic, I decided to start my own agency. I look forward to serving Grand Prairie residence and helping them understand there insurance policy coverages and assisting them with finding the best coverages to suit their individual needs. 

I am a disabled veteran who served 4 years in the army. I've worked with Department of Veteran Affairs, Army and Airforce Exchange Services, Department of Defense, and Texas Health and Human Services. I have a bachelor's degree in social work, minors in Psychology and African American studies, and certificate in Diversity studies. I have 90 credit hours in childcare along with first, cpr, and basic life support. I also have experience in counseling and working with troubled youth. A year ago, I've decided to open an in-home registered daycare in the state of Texas because I love working with children of all ages and I am a mandated reporter of child abuse. My duties are to serve and protect the innocent. I am the voice of the innocent and I welcome all walks of life, where a child is a child first.
